And we received just that. Dave worked within my budget, gave an excellent work-product, and was very flexible in allowing us to change assumptions mid-project without any penalties or grief. His pricing (estimate and final invoice) was well-laid out, itemized and very transparent (none of that “one large number” for the project pricing). But most important was the fact that Dave and his crew were always on time and very reliable. Any issues (which some always come up in a project of this size) were resolved efficiently and effectively.

For those who may be searching for a great electrician, you don’t need to look any further than David Butler of Butler Electric. I contacted Dave through a professional referral. We came away from our first experience with Butler Electric, Inc. extremely pleased. We had a small job (run wires and install a new ceiling fan + install two new kitchen pendants), however, we were treated with the same respect and professionalism that I’m sure Dave and his crew would exhibit towards clients with larger projects. To sum it up, Butler Electric was punctual, extremely reasonably priced, professional, and does excellent work. Butler Electric was great! I needed a switch installed in our living room for a ceiling fixture that had been wired to be hot all the time - a ceiling fan light combo had been there and you always had to use the pull chains. Having dealt with some of the larger electrician companies before, I wanted to deal with an owner operator this time around. I found Butler Electric Inc. via a web search. Just as I was hoping, the owner answered, we had a short pleasant conversation and on the designated day he arrived on time, gave things a proper evaluation, asked my thoughts on options and went to work. We were in the middle of repainting the room and had been worried about our work being messed up and having to repair things. No worries at all; they were very careful, precise, quick and efficient. The price was right what he had said it would probably be on the phone - very good!

Our experience with Butler Electric was great! We chose Butler Electric to do the electrical work in our basement as we were finishing it and we were extremely satisfied with the results. The Lehman's called with some electrical problems they just couldn't pin down. Flickering, erratic power outages plagued their house. We were there within 24 hours solving their issues. Turns out, it was pretty simple- loose connections in the panel that we were able to fix pretty quick. Here is what they had to say:

There are many old conceptions about "ugly" florescent lights-the buzz, the flicker, and the cold industrial feel to them. In reality, florescent lights have come a long way and are now quieter,
brighter, and warmer in their light. Upon my suggestion, we upgraded this clients garage with these newer type of florescent lights and he couldn't get enough of them! Now that his workspace is well lit, we're not sure if he'll ever leave the garage! His wife is either really pleased with us, or blames us for losing her husband- time will tell!

Sugarhouse Kitchen Remodel

This Sugarhouse kitchen remodel was a great chance for this couple to update their kitchen just before they welcomed a new baby.

We consulted on the lighting design and came up with a great mix that will make a well-lit and usable kitchen. Counter receptacles, 3-way switches, under cabinet lighting, recessed cans, and some classy little pendant lighting make it complete!
